The Accountability Court in Islamabad has given the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) three days to interrogate PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the 190 million pounds Al-Qadir scandal.

Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer issued an order on the plea seeking chairman PTI’s remand in the Al-Qadir case.

The written order states that according to NAB, Imran Khan instead of bringing stolen gifts from Pakistan to the national treasury; returned them to the accused.

According to NAB, the PTI chairman returned the money to the accused and took land and money from them in the Al-Qadir Trust, it added.

The court order further states that according to NAB, there is concrete evidence that Imran Khan committed the crime of corruption.

However, the PTI chairman said that he did not take financial advantage, if money laundering was proven, it would have cost 100 million pounds, the order says.

Following these statements issued in the order, the court allowed NAB officials to interrogate Imran Khan in Adiala jail for three days.

The court will again hear the petition on the PTI chairman’s physical remand on November 17.
