The security forces and the Peshawar police in a joint operation killed eight terrorists in Bannu on Tuesday.
The operation against the terrorists was carried out after receiving a tip-off.
Following the secret information, a joint operation was launched against the terrorists wanted by the police under serious cases including terrorism.
Heavy exchange of fire took place between the troops, leaving three security force officers injured.
Among the dead terrorists include two important commanders of banned outfit, the police reported.
