Honor unveiled a new smartphone, the X50i+, which boasts a 108 MP main camera, a lightweight design, and an affordable price.

The Honor X50i+ is centered on a 6.7” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a maximum 90 Hz refresh rate. It features an 8 MP front-facing camera housed in an oval cutout, giving the appearance of a more intricate setup.

The Honor X50i+ is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, paired with 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB. It runs on MagicOS 7.2, overlaid on Android 13, right out of the box.

While the camera design of the Honor X50i+ features a distinctive flattened circle, the sensors behind it are not particularly exceptional. The setup includes a 108 MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The phone has a slim profile, measuring only 6.78 mm in thickness at its base, and is remarkably lightweight at just 166 grams, positioning it as one of the lightest smartphones introduced in 2023. It is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery and supports a modest 33W charging capability.

The Honor X50i+ is offered in China in four color options: powder gold and light blue with sparkling details, and black and green with plain panels. The pricing starts at CNY1,599 ($220) for the 256 GB version and CNY1,799 ($245) for the 512 GB variant.
