LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested the commander of banned Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from Pakpattan.
According to a CTD spokesperson, the law enforcement agencies arrested the commander of the outlawed TTP from Pakpattan in a major operation.
CTD spokesman said that apart from Pakpattan, CTD arrested four alleged terrorists while conducting operations in Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, and Sahiwal.
CTD officials said that explosive materials, five detonators, two hand grenades, and weapons were also recovered from the possession of the alleged terrorists.

Earlier, Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Wing arrested four individual in Multan, accused of blackmailing a woman using explicit material.
The suspects, identified as Rizwan, Imtiaz, Owais, and Muhammad Bilal, were taken into custody by FIA officials.
The arrest followed their alleged involvement in threatening the woman by exploiting indecent material, with intentions to upload it on social media.
The FIA officials revealed that the accused had been using immoral content to coerce the victim, creating a distressing situation for her.
