Meltem Demirors, a well-known person in the American cryptocurrency and fintech space, is CoinShares’ Chief Strategy Officer. She was born in the Netherlands on May 14, 1987, and came to Michigan when she was 10 years old. Despite her great accomplishments, Demirors does not yet have a Wikipedia page.
In 2018, she was ranked 38 on Fortune’s “The Ledger 40 Under 40” list, and she was nominated for the “City AM Outstanding Industry Contribution Award” at the Crypto AM Summit & Awards 2021.
Demirors began her job as an analyst at Dow Chemical in 2007 after graduating from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economic Analysis. She has worked at Tradax Energy, Deloitte Consulting, and ExxonMobil over the years.
Demirors, who is married to a Barstool sports employee, keeps her husband’s identity hidden. In January 2018, they signed a marriage contract and celebrated their unorthodox wedding with matching workout clothing.
Demirors, 36, continues to make achievements in the cryptocurrency sector, working as the Director of the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme and contributing to global governance councils.
