Sheikh Abdul Aziz had raised his voice against the economic blockade in the Kashmir Valley by Hindu extremists in Jammu.
The prominent Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani while paying tributes to the martyred Hurriyat leader appealed to the people to give a befitting tribute to the heroes of the freedom movement.
It is to be noted that in order to stop anti-India protests on the martyrdom anniversary of Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Indian authorities have extended restrictions for another week to restrict people to their homes.
