The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a key member of a drug smuggling gang from Gwadar and recovered a massive drug cache.
The dedicated efforts of the ANF staff led to the recovery of a total of 1788 kilograms of drugs during the operation.
These drugs included 1740 kg of hashish, 28 kg of ice, and 20 kg of morphine.
The seized drugs were manufactured in Afghanistan, and they were registered with Afghanistan’s customs.
Some of the drugs were found under a hut made of wood and leaves, while others were discovered in tunnels dug into the hills.
After the operation, the storage places for these drugs were destroyed.
Cases have been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations have commenced.
