RAWALPINDI: Namaz e Janaza of shuhadas (martyrs) who embraced shahadat on November 3, in a terrorist attack in Gawadar district, was offered at Pasni on Saturday, Bol News reported.
The martyrs would be laid to rest with full military honour in their respective hometowns. Seniors serving military and civil administration officers and troops attended the funeral prayer, the military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The Armed Forces of Pakistan stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all costs.
On November 4, as many as 14 soldiers were martyred when terrorists attacked two vehicles carrying security forces in Gwadar.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the unfortunate incident occurred when the security convoy was moving from Pasni to Ormara in Gwadar district.
The ISPR added that a sanitisation operation was being carried out in the area and perpetrators of this heinous act will be hunted down [and] brought to justice.
The ISPR mentioned that the security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
