Security forces on Saturday killed nine terrorists in Mianwali, who were planning an attack on Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Training Air Base.

In a swift operation by the security forces, the terrorists were neutralized even before they could enter the base while remaining three terrorists were detained by the troops.

The attack led to a minor damage to a fuel bowser and three planes that were already grounded at the air base.

A comprehensive joint clearance and combing operation has entered in its final stages to completely clear the area.

Pakistan Armed Forces remain committed to eliminating menace of terrorism from the country.
