Today’s assaults on al-Shifa Hospital and a coastal road in Gaza have raised fears of dozens of casualties, with hundreds believed to be injured, according to Al-Qudra, the spokesperson for the Palestinian Health Ministry.

“If no safe passage is provided for the delivery of fuel and medical supplies and the departure of victims, we will continue to lose more lives. We are helpless here,” al-Qudra said.

We will provide further updates on the casualties resulting from these two attacks as soon as information becomes available.

The individuals who possess the most intimate knowledge of the situation at Al-Shifa Hospital are the healthcare professionals.

Whether they are doctors or nurses, they also call Gaza their home.

We had the opportunity to speak with these medical teams, who shared their firsthand accounts of the daily horrors they’ve experienced since the commencement of Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
