Documentary ‘Freedom Fighters’ involves a story of three brave women: a former child bride, a police officer, and a labor crusader who are raising their voices against inequality.
It has been co-directed by Maheen Sadiq whereas produced by SOC Films for the Center for Investigative Journalism. This documentary was part of a documentary series in which four female filmmakers created films about opportunities for women empowerment.
Chinoy said that these subjects spark difficult conversations and make people uncomfortable: “Change only comes about when people are forced to discuss an issue.”
