Oppo A2m, a close relative of the recently launched A2x, is in development with a unique chipset.
The A2m will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700, as per a recent disclosure.

Following the recent release of the Oppo A2x, its closely related counterpart, the Oppo A2m, is currently in development. Although these two smartphones have a strong family resemblance and almost identical specifications, a new listing has revealed a unique chipset selection for the A2M.

As per the most recent revelation, the Oppo A2m has made its debut on the China Telecom website, unveiling its adoption of the MediaTek MT6833V/ZA platform, specifically recognized as the Dimensity 700 chipset.

The Oppo A2m features a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, along with a small waterdrop notch housing a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, it hosts a single 13-megapixel camera. The device is expected to operate on Android 13, possibly with the ColorOS interface.

The Oppo A2m is expected to feature a 3.5mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is likely to be offered in three memory variants: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, and a high-end option with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Prospective buyers can look forward to color options in black and purple.

The smartphone is expected to come with a USB Type-C port and be powered by a 5000mAh battery, supported by a 10W charging kit. As for specific pricing and availability details, we’ll need to await further information as Oppo prepares to provide more details in the near future.
