The previously leaked Oppo A79 is now officially confirmed. It’s equipped with the Dimensity 6020 SoC and comes with Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 pre-installed. The phone features 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The Oppo A79 features a 6.72-inch 90Hz FullHD+ LCD with Panda Glass safeguarding. With a pixel density of 391 ppi and a peak brightness of 680 nits, the display is promoted as a sunlight display, ensuring visibility even in bright sunlight. Additionally, the screen holds Widevine L1 certification, enabling 1080p video streaming on Amazon Prime and Netflix.
