Pakitan’s Arsalan “Ash” Siddique bags yet another record in esports

  • Arslan “Ash” Siddiqui wins the Jemputan Tekken 7 Championship in Malaysia.
  • He defeated Shaheen in the grand final with Kunimitsu after an initial loss.
  • He is the four-time EVO champion, a unique achievement in Tekken 7 history.

Arslan “Ash” Siddiqui, a legendary figure in Pakistani esports, won the “Jemputan Tekken 7 Championship” in Sepang, Malaysia on Sunday, adding yet another accolade to his illustrious career.

The Tekken 7 veteran was first defeated 2-0 by Kkokkoma in winners round 2, but he rallied well to defeat LowHigh’s Shaheen 3-1 in the grand final with his Kunimitsu.

Siddiqui defeated Galgonge of South Korea 3-0 in the championship match to win the Uprising Korea 2023 competition last week.

He won the title in Las Vegas in August of this year, making history as a four-time EVO champion.

The only person in the world to win Tekken 7’s coveted tournament four times is Siddiqui. He won the championship in both Japan and Las Vegas in 2019 and did it again this year.

He was crowned the “best E-Player of 2019” by sports media and is widely regarded as the greatest Tekken player of all time.

He also won the “2022 combo Breaker Tekken 7” tournament after dominating all 10 of his opponents, as well as the “CEO 2021 champion” competition.
