Tamgha-e-Imtiaz recipient Mehwish Hayat spoke about Kashmir’s issue on her social media account, as today Pakistan observed “Kashmir Seige Day”.
Taking to her Twitter account, Mehwish wrote,
“Today marks 1 year of the brutal crackdown on the #Kashmir people. 365 days of darkness, pain & torture. Their ongoing suffering will not be forgotten.”

She went on to urge people to raise their voices against the Indian army and to support Kashmir to get freedom.
“Inaction is not an option – we must stand up, raise our voices & rid them of this tyranny they’re under. Kashmiri lives matter !”
