Facebook will roll out Messenger Rooms on WhatsApp as part of its integration of Messenger Rooms with all of its owned apps.

The feature has already been started on Facebook, Instagram, and its Portal device, ever since the social media platform had announced Messenger Rooms earlier this year.

This new feature has also made it possible to go on Facebook Live directly from Messenger Rooms. Facebook’s plan is to integrate the feature on all of its apps and finally launching the feature on WhatsApp.

As per reports, Messenger Rooms support, for the time being, is only limited to WhatsApp Web. The support on the WhatsApp’s mobile app will be launched soon as Facebook has not declared anything yet.

You can create the messenger rooms on WhatsApp in two simple steps.

Step 1:

To Create a Room, click on the three dots on the top left corner of the app’s screen (in my case, it was the dropdown arrow or “caret icon”) and choose “Create a Room.”
