  • 21 million views, 1 million+ likes.
  • Outrage over seat cleanliness and maintenance concerns.

Social media users are outraged by a viral video that shows the dust that pours out of a bus seat. The account @_likealeaf posted the video to Instagram.

Read the caption of the post, “Bus seats are made of a special fabric with unusual patterns because it helps them mask stains, wear and tear, and look fresh without the need for much maintenance. The weird, mind-bending patterns are designed to make the seats appear clean and unworn, even though they conceal a lot of dirt within those wild patterns.”

In addition, a video showing the dust emerging from the seat was published on the page. A person can be seen in the video striking the bus seat with what appears to be a hammer. The person taps the seat, causing dust to fly out of it.
