As Amir’s newborn baby was due to be born, he decided to pull out of the England tour. Later, after Haris Rauf tested positive for coronavirus five times, Misbah-ul-Haq head coach-cum-chief selector and team demanded Amir’s inclusion in the T20Is squad.
It should be noted that, from August 5, Pakistan will play three-Test series matches against England. Green shirts will play three T20Is, respectively, on August 28, 30, and September 1.
