According to media sources, renowned Pakistani comedian Farrukh Shah passed away on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest.
The actor ‘s son reported his death, saying early today Shah suffered a cardiac arrest and died on his way to the hospital. The funeral prayers of the actor will be offered in Lahore today, after Maghrib prayers.
Shah became famous for impersonating Prime Minister Imran Khan in various television shows.
Family sources said he faced financial difficulties due to coronavirus following the closure of theatres.
Many comedians extended their condolences to his family, with tributes and posts on social media dedicated to him.
