20-year-old civilian injured in unprovoked Indian firing along LoC: ISPR

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday that a 20-year-old boy was injured during the Indian army’s firing along the Line of Control (LoC).

As per details by ISPR, the Indian army started the unprovoked ceasefire violation(CFV) in the Bagshar sector along LoC targeting civilians.

The 20-year-old boy was a resident of Mehtika Village. He was taken to the nearby hospital for necessary medical care after receiving critical injuries.

Earlier this month on July 12th, the Indian forces had injured six civilians including two women and an 11-year-old girl in different unprovoked firing incidents along the LoC.

In the first incident, the Indian forces had conducted unprovoked firing alongside the LOC on the Rakhchikri Sector and attacked the civilian population. An elderly woman living in the village of Kirni had sustained injuries during the firing incident, the ISPR said the Pakistan Army responded effectively to the Indian firing.

Five civilians including a woman and an 11-year-old girl had sustained wounds in another incident of unprovoked firing at the civilian population in the Khuiratta Sector alongside the LOC.
