The “Welcome” initiative “Hayyakom” has been introduced by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques in the Grand Mosque’s library in Makkah.
The program seeks to welcome tourists and pilgrims while also encouraging enrichment in the arts and education.
It acts as a platform for educating visitors about Islamic heritage and the Kingdom’s cultural past. Additionally, it hopes to instill a sense of spirituality and cultural awareness among both pilgrims and tourists.
Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the head of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, issued the initiative as one of his directions.
While this was going on, a group of Chinese pilgrims visited the Two Holy Mosques Exhibition and received information on the Grand Mosque’s features.
The visit was a component of the program the president had planned for this year’s Hajj season, according to Assistant Undersecretary for Field Advisory Affairs Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Majeed Al-Barakati.
The program was carried out under the theme “From Arrival to Departure.”
Al-Barakati also praised the leadership’s outstanding initiatives and pioneering role in supporting the mosques and their patrons.
