GitHub is introducing Copilot X, a feature powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4 model and AI-powered tags in pull request descriptions. Copilot is also testing new capabilities internally where Copilot will suggest sentences and paragraphs as developers create pull requests.
Additionally, GitHub is launching Copilot for docs, an experimental tool that uses a chat interface to provide users with AI-generated responses to questions about documentation, including questions about languages, frameworks and technologies. Finally, GitHub is releasing Copilot CLI, a tool that translates natural language into terminal commands.
