LAHORE: Pleas for protective bail in two cases against former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been filed in the Lahore High Court today.

The pleas were filed in two cases – lodged in Rimna Police Station Islamabad – on behalf of Imran Khan by his lawyer Azhar Siddique.

The petition maintained that Imran Khan wants to appear before the court to face the charges made against him.

It also said that there has been a fear of his arrest by the police.

Lawyer Azhar Sadiq requested in the petition on behalf of Imran Khan that the court should grant security bonds in all four cases.

On the other hand, former Prime Minister Imran Khan also filed an application for protective bail from Zaman Park to the Lahore High Court.

The plea submitted that the police have blocked the roads and PTI fears the arrest of Imran Khan and requested the court to approve a protective bail application from Zaman Park to Lahore High Court.
