‘The Glory’ director admits guilt amid bullying controversy

  • Ahn Gil Ho, admits to harassing classmates in high school.
  • The accuser claims they were in middle school in the Philippines.
  • His attorney issued the statement regarding the accusations.

The Glory’s producing director, Ahn Gil Ho, admits to harassing classmates in high school. On March 10th, the director was first accused, although she originally refused to take responsibility.

They were in middle school in the Philippines, the accuser claims, while Ahn Gil Ho was in high school. He had the group brought to him and assaulted them after they made fun of his middle school girlfriend.

His attorney issued the following statement regarding the accusations on March 12: I am attorney Kim Mun Hui of the law firm JIPYONG, and I am representing director Ahn Gil Ho. Please be patient with us while we explain our position after a brief delay from the initial news.

In 1996, while studying abroad in the Philippines, director Ahn Gil Ho began seeing a woman. When he learned that his girlfriend had been the target of bullying at school, he briefly lost it and caused an irreparable injury to someone else.

From the bottom of his heart, [director Ahn Gil Ho] begs those who were harmed by this incident’s forgiveness. If given the chance, he would want to meet in person or at the very least speak with you on the phone to apologies.

[Director Ahn Gil Ho] regrets that a regrettable incident has generated criticism.
