Usman broke teammate Rilee Rossouw’s record of fastest tonne in 41 balls, which she set against Peshawar Zalmi yesterday.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first against Multan Sultans on Saturday at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi in the 28th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight.
Mohammad Nawaz captains Quetta in the absence of Sarfaraz Ahmed, who missed the previous match as well due to a finger injury.
Quetta Gladiators still have a chance to advance to the PSL 8 playoffs.
Quetta must win their final league stage match against Multan Sultans by a large margin today (Saturday). Quetta also expects Islamabad United to defeat Peshawar Zalmi by a large margin on Sunday in order to advance to the next round.
From the aforementioned games, Quetta requires a swing of approximately 100 runs in their favour.
Multan Sultans have already qualified for the tournament’s playoffs.
