King Charles praised for ‘big decision’ for bringing peace

  • Harry and Meghan chastised for allowing their children royal titles.
  • Richard Faitzwilliams believes the Duke and Duchess will attract more attention.
  • The decision may help to calm tensions between the royal family.

The children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now known as Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex, according to the British royal family’s official website.

The decision may help to calm tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family, but it appears to have enraged some royal enthusiasts.

The 74-year-old monarch has seemed to be a very wise king, ignoring Harry and Meghan’s criticism of the palace and taking a major move to alleviate tension and the ongoing crisis inside the family.

The monarch has officially recognised Meghan and Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet, as Prince and Princess, despite rising public pressure to strip the Sussexes of their titles.

The King avoided adding fuel to the flames by making a very wise move to relieve familial tensions.

In line with the 1917 Letters Patent, Archie and Lilibet became eligible for the princely titles on September 8, upon Charles’ succession to the throne.
