On a recent appearance on the Waseem Badami-hosted show Har Lamha Pur Josh, Gill astounded the audience with her command of Urdu poetry. She performed several lovely rhymes back-to-back during the show’s rapid-fire period where the guests had to recite Urdu verses. The hosts and other guests in attendance were in awe at her recitation.
She read the verses aloud. Mar Ke Bhi Aankhen Khuli Reh Gayi, Dil Diya Aitbar Ki Had Thi, Jaan De Dih Yeh Mere Pyar Ki Had Thi, Aur Kuch Nahi Yeh Teri Intezar Ki Had Thi, and more.
She also displayed her lesser-known literary talent during her appearance on the show. Her ability to perform Urdu poetry in front of an audience and her love of the language delighted her fans.
