Festivals often have an impact on people’s exercise routines, especially during a time of year when many miss nutritious meals and choose high-calorie foods.
Shama Sikander, star of “Yeh Meri Life Hai,” has provided fitness advice to follow after Holi so that the festival’s excesses wear off without you having to give up all the fun.
She uttered: “Even during festivals, it’s critical to maintain your fitness level. I adhere to several ground rules that allow me to have fun while also maintaining my health. To start with, I continue to consume water to maintain healthy body metabolism. It helps me feel more satisfied and keeps me from overeating. To help me manage my calorie consumption, I then set a daily calorie cap.”
Shama has appeared in movies including “Mann,” “Ansh: The Deadly Part,” and “Prem Aggan,” all of which starred Aamir Khan. She has also been seen in reality shows such as ‘Boogie Woogie’, and music videos, particularly ‘Majnu Remix’ and ‘Hawa Karda’.
She continued by saying that she prefers cooking her own meals and substitutes whole wheat flour for white flour and sugar with jaggery in order to keep fit and healthy.
“Apart from that, I make the snacks and desserts as much as I can at home rather than ordering them from a caterer. In this approach, I can pick healthier substitutes like jaggery or wheat flour in place of refined sugar.
The actress added, “Last but not least, I exercise before the festivities start so exercising in the morning balances off the calories I will consume throughout the day and there won’t be any worry for the next few days.
