LAHORE: Funeral prayer of PTI martyred worker Ali Bilal, alias Zill-e-Shah, was offered at Baba Ground, here on Thursday.
Ali Bilal, who had been arrested during the PTI election rally in Lahore on Wednesday, was allegedly killed in the police custody. However, the police denied the allegation of the PTI and claimed that the slain worker was brought to the hospital by some people wearing plain clothes and left him there.
The funeral prayer was attended by central leadership of the PTI, workers and a large of people. Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Azam Swati, Hammad Azhar, Senator Ejaz Chaudhry, Zubair Niazi, Farrukh Habib, Shafqat Mehmood and others were among the attendees.
Meanwhile, PTI chairman Imran Khan in his tweet said,”This is the apocalypse that the corrupt gang of bloodthirsty criminals has unleashed on the nation. They have violated our constitution, our fundamental rights and the rule of law has gone.”

After the brutal violence of the police, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) postponed its election rally in Lahore on Wednesday as part of the election campaign.
PTI senior leader Hammad Azhar made the announcement while talking to media persons outside Zaman Park residence of Imran Khan.
Hammad said that fascism is at its peak in Pakistan as Punjab police cracked down on a peaceful election rally of the PTI.
