For the first time, Raquel Leviss is speaking out about her several-month relationship with Tom Sandoval. The Vanderpump Rules actor, 28, began a statement he gave to Entertainment Tonight by stating, “I want to apologize for my behavior and my decisions first and foremost to Ariana, to my friends, and to the people so involved in our relationships.”
She declared, “There is no defense, I am not a victim, I must take responsibility for my acts, and I really regret harming Ariana. “I’m thinking back on my decisions and talking to a counselor, and I’m discovering things about myself like my codependency tendencies and addiction to receiving and giving love. Without concern for my own health, I have sought emotional validation through unhealthy intimate relationships, often at the expense of others and sometimes choosing the intimate relationship over my friendships.”
Leviss claimed that she is “moving towards understanding my conduct and choosing better options.”
Beyond my own acts, she wrote, “I have been physically assaulted, lost friendships, received death threats and hate emails, in addition to having my privacy exposed. Although I chose to be on a reality show accepting the good and bad that come with it. “I’ve started counseling in an effort to break my destructive behavioral loop, develop stronger emotional boundaries, and safeguard my mental health. I don’t demand pity, comprehension, or pardon.”
Leviss continued, “For now, I have to concentrate on my own health and well-being. As I work to improve myself moving forward, I will give my mental health a top priority and absorb lessons from my past mistakes.”
Last week, when he was on stage with his band, Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras, Sandoval’s ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix discovered that he had been having an affair with Leviss after finding an intimate video and “inappropriate” messages between the two on his phone.
The concerned video was “a FaceTime conversation between Raquel and Tom. Tom had recorded the screen for it. Ariana taped it and emailed it to herself after seeing it on Tom’s phone “a source informed the media.
Afterward, Sandoval, Madix, and her VPR co-stars received legal notices from Leviss’ attorneys asking them to cease sharing the footage.
The attorneys said the video was captured “illegally” and “without the authorization” of Leviss. It identified him as the accused recorder in the letter sent to Sandoval, 40.
The recording must be removed by everyone with access to it from their phones, the cloud, or “any other means or method in which the recording may exist,” according to the reality star’s attorneys. A list of “any people to whom you have forwarded this tape or who you may have let to watch this recording” was also required.
While acknowledging “the grief that this may have caused you,” Madix’s attorneys wrote in a letter that re-recording the video is prohibited and might subject her to “criminal and civil repercussions.”
According to a source who spoke to the news, Madix was “totally surprised” when she learned about the recording.
“She believed she knew this person, with whom she intended to live out the rest of her days. The betrayal is so hard to describe “an insider revealed.
Sources confirmed that the two were finished by Friday afternoon. For nine years, they had been in a monogamous relationship.
An insider said that Sandoval and Madix have been having a covert relationship “for upwards of 6 months” and that Tom has been sharing a bed with Ariana during this time.
“Raquel had Ariana’s support during the difficult time of her divorce from James [Kennedy]. She believed they were pals “Added a second source. “You wouldn’t do this to a buddy,” she said.
