The viral video we’re sharing with you shows a moving car coming to a stop barely over a zebra crossing or a marked crosswalk, depending on the jurisdiction. Right behind her is a speeding biker, who slams into the car, is thrown over, lands on the roof, and slides down, smashing the windshield.

It is difficult to determine who is to blame. If it was for the dog that the woman slowed and stopped the car, or for the motorcyclist who was nearby but couldn’t tell if the automobile was stopped or moving?
We’ve written and talked a lot about road safety and traffic rules, and it’s the obligation of everyone on the road to follow them. It makes no difference whether you are driving a small or heavy car, riding a bike or a bicycle, or walking; the onus is on all of us.
