Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi had a special fan watch him play during their match against Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi on Tuesday in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.

Shaheen got his proud father a seat in the owners’ dugout to watch his son play after he advanced himself to bat for the second time this season.

The left-handed batter took advantage of the situation and hit his first T20 fifty. Shaheen, who entered the batting order at number six, made 52 runs off 36 balls, including three boundaries and five sixes, but sadly, his team was unable to chase down the necessary 208 runs.

Shaheen’s father joined Qalandars’ squad to honour the martyrs of the KP Police. Additionally, he got to know Shaheen’s teammates and wished them luck in the playoffs. Together, they took pictures and enjoyed their time.

Here, it is important to mention that Shaheen’s family has ties to KP Police. Shaheen was named the KP Police’s goodwill ambassador last year.
