Actress Sushmita Sen posted on Instagram to let her followers know that her cardiologist had cleared her to start light body movement at home. In her own words, she claimed that days after suffering a heart attack, she has been “cleared” to begin stretching. She underwent an angioplasty and the implantation of a stent last week after being admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital.
Sushmita shared a picture of herself stretching on a cricket wheel on her balcony in honour of Holi. She was dressed in athleisure. “ #wheeloflife cleared by my cardiologist…stretching begins!!! Fans flocked to the comment section as soon as Sushmita published her health update and wished for her quick and complete recovery. “Genuinely glad to see you sharing this and previous posts. I cannot even begin to imagine how scary it all must have been for you.”one of them remarked. Sushmita revealed the details of her heart attack last week, on March 2, two days after it occurred. After the health crisis, she claimed she asked the physicians to make sure no one knew she had been hospitalised. The former Miss Universe held a live Instagram session after arriving home and explained to followers that she had suffered a “major heart attack,” which resulted in a 95% blockage of one of her main arteries.
Since she is recovering and has not yet resumed work, she also gave fans an update on her planned projects. She clarified her earlier statement and will resume shooting. She also talked to fans about her upcoming movie, Taali. “Once I get a clearance from my doctors, I will be off to Jaipur to finish Aarya and I will also be working on the dubbing for Taali,” she said.
