Richard Berthelsen, a royal commentator for CTV, got down to talk about the latest news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received an invitation, as reported by Express Daily UK. The spokesperson for Meghan and Harry stated after confirming the invitation’s announcement that the couple would not immediately reveal whether or not they would attend the occasion.
He explained, “With Harry and Meghan needing to leave Frogmore House, it may be their last chance to visit that location, to remain there, or they may be welcomed to stay at Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle, where there is no shortage of space for them.
He continued, “There are a number of concerns that I think they have to consider depending on their public image and everything that is happening if it is to their advantage. They have been invited by the Royal Family and are welcome to attend.
The US-based royals were kicked out of their Windsor house, which was given to them as a wedding gift by the late Queen Elizabeth, before they learned of their invitation to the ceremony taking place at Westminster Abbey in May.
The mansion is owned by the Crown Estate, but Harry and Meghan renovated it in 2018 for a total of £2.4 million. In addition, Prince Andrew is reportedly being persuaded to relocate from Royal Lodge in Berkshire to the Frogmore Cottage.
