Honor has just released the Magic 5 Ultimate. The Honor 5 series was unveiled during a ceremony in China, along with this special edition for the Chinese market.

The Magic5 Ultimate is essentially a 16/512GB Honor Magic5 Pro with a fancy leather-bound casing.

Apart from these minor details, the Magic5 Ultimate is the same fully featured flagship as the Pro. It has a 6.81-inch, 1312 x 2848-pixel LTPO OLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 820 Gen 2 chip with 16GB of RAM, and a 5,450mAh battery with 66W charging.

On the front, there are two camera sensors: a wider-than-usual 12 MP selfie camera and a depth sensor. On the other side, there’s a 50MP triple camera with autofocus and macro capabilities: a 23mm f/1.6 wide unit with a proprietary 1/1.12″ sensor, a 90mm 3.5x periscope zoom, and a 13mm ultrawide with autofocus and macro.

The Honor Magic5 Ultimate is currently available in China for CNY 6,699 (€908 and INR 79,155, converted). The first shipments are scheduled to begin on March 20.
