With Creed III, the most recent chapter in the Rocky Balboa spin-off series, Michael B. Jordan is well on his way to making his mark. The boxing film directed by Jordan broke a franchise record with an astounding $58.7 million in its opening weekend at the domestic box office. The movie blew through the $36 million to $40 million mark after debuting very positive reviews.
The movie not only has a decent chance of covering its $75 million budget, but it also dethroned the current box office champion Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania from first place.
The box office for next weekend is undoubtedly going to be fascinating because Creed III is predicted to continue rising.
