Eminent, seasoned actor Qavi Khan no more

KARACHI: Eminent and seasoned film, drama and theater actor Qavi Khan passes away at the age of 80 due to a prolonged illness in Canada on Sunday.

He went to Canada for treatment recently. He was said to be suffering from cancer.

People from every walk of life particularly Showbiz community have saddened over the death of reverend and one of senior most artists of the country.

The news of his demise has spread the country like wildfire across the country and grief and condolences from his colleagues, fans, and admirers all over the world outpoured.

Qavi Khan, who received Nishan-i-Imtiaz, the highest civil award in Pakistan, for his outstanding services in the field of showbiz, was one of the most respected and revered actors in the country.

He had a career spanning over four decades and had showcased his artistic talent in every medium of entertainment, be it television, theatre or radio.
