There are so many individuals in our lives that we care about deeply and would go out of our way for. Families, parents, kids, in-laws, friends, our pets, whom we raise and care for like our own children or siblings, and occasionally even complete strangers are among them. When they experience even minor suffering, it makes us feel much worse, and when they are joyful, we feel much greater joy for them. This is referred to as empathy, love, and compassion. We associate our loved ones with those traits.

In the viral video we’re sharing with you, the loss of a loved one is depicted as a real, breathing artwork. In the video, a young woman wearing a mask sits in a barbershop chair while a young man shaves her head. It must be acknowledged that she is undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

The man comforts the woman while she is crying by giving her a head kiss. Her long hair is completely removed in a few strokes, revealing her exposed scalp just before she is about to lose it. As the man notices this, he gently wraps his arm around her head, allowing her to lay her head on his chest.

I will never be able to further explain what happened, no matter how hard I try.
