Alex Hales, the English opener who will play for Islamabad United in the ongoing eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has arrived in the country.
United, who suffered a crushing 110-run defeat at the hands of defending champions Lahore Qalandars on Monday, received a major confidence boost ahead of their home matches on Wednesday afternoon when their enterprising opener Hales joined the squad.
United took to Twitter to share a photo of Hales’ arrival in the country.

It is important to note that after five games, the United are in third place with six points, two points behind the leaders Qalandars.
While this is going on, the United will begin their home games on Friday when they take on the fourth-placed Karachi Kings, the 2020 champions.
