The court said Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest warrant was issued for his not appearing before the court despite repeatedly giving him chances. The court has adjourned hearing of the case till March 7.

During hearing of the case of criminal proceedings filed by the Election Commission of Pakistan in Toshakhana case, the ECP counsels Saad Hasan and Amjad Pervaiz appeared before the court. On the other hand, Imran Khan’s lawyer Barrister Gohar Ali Khan appeared.

Judge Zafar Iqbal asked if Imran Khan would appear before the court after his arrest warrant would be issued. The counsel said his client could not come for security risk, but on the next hearing he must appear. “Imran Khan is appearing in the banking court and high court for getting bail today,” he said requesting to grant exemption to his client for today from attendance.
