Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, starring Danish Taimoor and Durefishan Saleem, was one such drama that was recently trending every week.

Pakistani drama content has recently come under fire for depicting toxicity and abuse, not only from the audience and critics, but also from within the industry.

Actors are tired of portraying negativity, saas-bahu sagas, and women falling into abusive relationships, but that is the type of content that is being produced on a regular basis, and it unfortunately receives high ratings.

Yasir stated that while our films are heavily censored, the audience chooses to watch the content when they buy tickets, whereas in dramas, people are trained and information is programmed into them for free.

A drama in which a man who kidnaps a girl from her father is portrayed as a hero, and the girl eventually falls in love with him.

Yasir also stated that this is most likely why stories of actors abusing their wives in real life are becoming more common.
