According to court documents obtained by sources, McBride claims that Gaga’s promise to pay the sum of $500,000 as a reward with no questions was a scheme to defraud the public with no intention of paying the reward. As a result, Jennifer McBride has filed a lawsuit against Lady Gaga, seeking $500,000 in compensatory damages. She demands the compensation for ‘alleged pain and suffering, mental anguish, and loss of enjoyment in life’. Lady Gaga’s official representative did not respond.
