Dry weather expected in most parts of country: PMD

  • Rain with wind and thunderstorm is likely at isolated places
  • Partly cloudy in upper parts during the next twelve hours.
  • Light rain in GB and Kashmir is expected

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday said mainly dry weather was expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy in upper parts during the next twelve hours.

“However, rain with wind and thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, GB and Kashmir,” the PMD said.

On February 6, the intensity of cold in the metropolitan city had started decreasing and the mornings had been turning pleasant with moderate temperatures.

As per the meteorological department, the severity of cold had decreased considerably and the temperature of the city was 20 degrees Celsius.

The wind was blowing at a speed of 3 km per hour and the humidity ratio in the air was 86%.
Meanwhile, the forecast was of clear and cloudy weather.

On the other hand, the weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it was very cold and partly cloudy in the upper regions.
