Rashid Khan, an Afghan leg-spinner, has expressed his love for playing for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Rashid emphasized his relationship with the management and his teammates in an exclusive interview. “Shaheen [Afridi], Haris [Rauf], and Fakhar [Zaman] and I share a close relationship. I feel like I’ve been playing for Lahore for the past ten years because of the love and support Sameen [Rana] bhai, Aaqib [Javed] bhai, and everyone else here has shown me over the previous several years,” said Rashid.

This link, he continued, “also improves our performance on the field.”

The gifted leg-spinner also discussed how the PSL’s cricket stacks up against that of other T20 leagues across the world.

“The PSL and other leagues throughout the world are not that different from one another. The league will improve much more once we go to populous places like Peshawar and Quetta and play in front of enthusiastic crowds. As the crowd will occasionally be on your side and occasionally against you, it also puts the player and their skills to the test,” he remarked.

If the hitter is not ready, they will struggle because the bowlers here are undoubtedly swift. Being here and playing bowlers at 140 kph or more is a really difficult challenge, he continued.

During the current PSL 8, Rashid also spoke bowling to Babar Azam, one of the top batsmen in the world.

“As before, it will be a good competition. The beauty of this competition is that you will always love bowling to a top player since you will attempt to make life difficult for him and he will do the same for you. He is without a doubt one of the top batters in the game in all formats, he remarked. I’ll attempt to keep it straightforward and concentrate on my line and length.
