On Tuesday, February 28, Prince William and Kate Middleton will pay a visit to South Wales. Their stay will include three engagements.
The first engagement is under embargo.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will visit Aberavon Leisure & Fitness Centre for their second engagement to meet local communities and learn about how sport and exercise can help mental health and wellness.
Their Royal Highnesses will explore the facilities of the complex, which include a huge indoor sports hall where young people and Welsh professional athletes such as Harrison Walsh and Hannah Brier will participate in an athletics and gymnastics session.
As the Prince and Princess leave the centre, they will spend some time greeting members of the public who have gathered outside.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will visit the headquarters of Wales Air Ambulance in their third and final announced engagement.
TRH will meet with emergency professionals, volunteers, and supporters during the tour and will learn about their recent operations in Wales.
During the interaction, the Prince and Princess will also get the opportunity to talk with emergency professionals about the necessity of prioritising their own mental health.
The Prince and Princess will then officially inaugurate a new family room designed by a bereaved family who lost their father in a horrific traffic accident.
The chamber was built as a safe area for families, nurses, and volunteers, and the Prince and Princess will meet with the family who developed the room, as well as the nurses and volunteers who have assisted them since their father’s death.
