After releasing the heartfelt tribute song “Without You,” which he performed during the Grammys’ “In Memoriam” segment earlier this month, Quavo has now released the new song “Greatness” and a music video featuring Takeoff, who was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley in November at the age of 28.

As a murder suspect, Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was detained by police in December.

In connection with the incident, officers also detained 22-year-old Cameron Joshua, who was accused of carrying a handgun without a permit.

As part of the conditions of his release, Patrick is under house arrest, has to wear a GPS monitoring device, and forbidden from contacting anyone connected to the shooting investigation. Patrick was freed from jail in early January after posting a $1 million bond.

On March 9, he is expected to make another court appearance.

The two tracks were released after Quavo wrote Takeoff a letter.

He wrote: “It’s so hard to tell you Ima miss you because you always with me and we did everything together.

“Since we were kids you been by my side lookin up at me, them eyes waiting on me to make the next move.. then you followed up right behind me. You always made sure I did it first so you can do it right with me. You never competed with me, we were always on the same team. (sic)”

Meanwhile, Offset recently denied he brawled with Quavo at the Grammys.

The Migos rapper responded to reports of an alleged physical fight between the pair in a tweet, which read: “What tf look like fighting my brother yal n***** is crazy. (sic)”
