The pop artist, who hasn’t put out an album since 2020’s “Positions,” has collaborated with her friend and fellow musician on a fresh rendition of his 2016 song from the album “Starboy.”

On Tuesday, the “7 Rings” hitmaker shared a popular video of herself altering a verse in the vocal booth (21.02.23).

She sings: “You know what I’m thinkin’, see it in your eyes / You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry.”

The Grammy winner teased in the caption: “Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set. This certain exception had to be made….”

As Glinda in the two-part film adaption of the wildly successful Broadway musical “Wicked,” Ariana is presently putting in long hours.

The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, and the 29-year-old celebrity initially collaborated on the 2014 song “Love Me Harder” from Ariana Grande’s album “My Everything.”

Also, in 2020, they collaborated on the song “Off The Table” from her album “Positions,” and Ariana dazzled on a remix of “Save Your Tears” from his album “After Hours.”

On a recent performance of “Over the Rainbow” from the 1939 musical “Wicked,” the singer of “Dangerous Woman” reassured her admirers that she is still very much a vocalist.

After being asked by a TikTok user why she is no longer a singer, she replied: “Literally on set filming two musical movies all day every day.”
