Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, the next action thriller from Guy Ritchie (The Gentleman, Sherlock Holmes), is scheduled to make its U.S. premiere in theatres on March 3, 2023. Lionsgate has just unveiled a brand-new assortment of character posters for the film. The key actors are dressed as you might anticipate them to be for a group preparing to attend a covert black market weapons trade in the new pictures.

In Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, Jason Statham plays super spy Orson Fortune, who leads a team of operatives searching for a superweapon kept by wealthy weapons dealer Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). With the help of his experienced and well-traveled team of agents, including Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, and Bugzy Malone, a risky scheme is hatched to infiltrate an arms deal and eliminate Simmonds and his new weaponry: blackmail Hollywood actor Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett), who is a favourite of the billionaire, in order to lure Simmonds out and save the world. What could possibly go wrong with such a strategy?

All of the cast members from the cast list above can be seen in the posters dressed fancy, much like they are in the movie’s recent trailer. We learn not just their names but also where they stand on the team. The team’s “Tech Genius” is Sarah Fidel of Plaza, while Nathan Jasmine of Elwes and J.J. Davis of Malone are the team’s “Shot Caller” and “Sharpshooter,” respectively. The remaining cast members include Statham’s Fortune, the “Superspy,” and Hartnett’s Francesco, the “Star Recruit.” Simmonds, played by Grant, clearly demonstrates his position as the movie’s antagonist because he has been granted the honorific title of “supervillain.”

Operation Fortune will finally be released in theatres on next month.

 Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, which was co-financed by Miramax and SFX Entertainment, was initially scheduled to hit theatres on January 21, 2022, but was abruptly dropped off the release calendar for the production studios without explanation. Lionsgate acquired the U.S. distribution rights earlier this month and announced the film’s forthcoming March 3 release date. The movie was initially released in overseas countries in January of this year. Ritchie wrote the screenplay with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, and he also serves as the film’s director and co-writer. Bill Block joins Atkinson and Ritchie as the movie’s producers.
