- PML-Q to join Jail Bharo Tehreek with PTI
- The leaders will arrive at the spot along with workers
- Pervaiz Elahi has officially announced joining PTI yesterday
LAHORE: Following the announcement by Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) leader Pervaiz Elahi to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the PML-Q leaders have also announced to join hands with PTI for the ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’.
In this regard, leaders Zubair Ahmed Agha, Abdul Wasi Khan will reach Shariah Quaid-e-Azam today along with workers.
Pertinently, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi officially joined the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday along with close aides.
Former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi made the announcement while addressing a press conference along with PTI senior leader Fawad Chaudhry after meeting Imran Khan.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said the PDM-led government has destroyed the economy of the country in a few months. Elahi said he firmly stand with PTI chief Imran Khan in past and will continue to do so.
Notably, PTI has been kicking off Jail Bharo Tehreek today at 2pm and the leaders along with party workers and stalwarts have been reaching the spot to present their arrests.
Initially on day one, as many as 200 PTI workers will surrender for the arrests.
