Kelsea Ballerini‘s ex-husband Morgan Evans criticized her for omitting “what truly transpired” between them from her new EP and subsequent interviews.

In advance of Ballerini’s frank appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Evans, 37, addressed Ballerini’s recent remarks about their five-year marriage on Instagram on Tuesday night.

The singer expressed her sadness in her letter, stating, “It breaks my heart to watch this person, who I spent so much of my life with, and who I loved with all my heart, saying things that aren’t fact and that leave out what truly happened.”
